Below is a comprehensive explanation of what each function does.

Register

The register function adds a new entry to the database. New entries are always added with their status set to 'Pending' indicating that they have not yet been approved by a moderator. New entries are automatically assigned an ID number.

Update

Allows users to update certain information contained in the database. Users cannot update status, id number, owner, or ownership history but all other fields can be updated by all uses for all entries. Updates do not have to be approved by a moderator.

Transfer

Transfers ownership of an entry from one user to another. Transfers only affect the owner and ownership history fields and do not have to be approved by a moderator.

Search

Searches the database for entries based upon criteria specified by a user. Returns a listing of all entries that match some or all of the criteria.

View All

Shows all entries in the database, regardless of status.

Export

Sets status equal to Exported, but does not remove the entry from the database.
